About Us

As our name says, CageFree K-9 Camp is a completely cage free dog day care, dog training and dog boarding kennel in Los Angeles. CageFree is owned and operated by Jill Winter, an avid dog lover with years of experience in the field of animal care. Jill also heads the CageFree K-9 Rescue Foundation which finds great homes for local area shelter dogs. She guarantees 24-hour on-site supervision to ensure the safety and comfort of all campers. Jill, along with her staff of fully trained camp counselors, will attend to all of your dog's special needs. While running and playing with the day care dogs, Jill and her staff are always on the lookout for your pet’s welfare.

CageFree's interviewing process ensures that the cage free environment is right for each dog. The interview gives you and your dog a chance to become familiar and comfortable with us and our facility. Proof of current vaccinations should be brought to the interview, which lasts about 20 minutes and includes a full tour of our kennel and a temperament test for every new dog. All campers must be on a flea preventative program. All dogs over 1 year of age must be spayed or neutered to attend.
